2009 marks the 10th anniversary of the Lyceum’s Youth Theatre, so join us for a celebration!
The Lyceum Theatre has an ongoing commitment to providing outstanding theatre-making experiences through its Youth Theatre and Education programmes. Please join us, along with past and present members of LYT, for a celebratory fundraising gala at the Lyceum on Saturday 6 June 2009, 7.30pm.
The evening’s entertainment will be brought to you by LYT in a dynamic demonstration of youth theatre performance at its best. Buying your ticket - whether at Gold or Silver level - is also your contribution to supporting the Lyceum Theatre Company’s Youth Theatre in its exciting programme of activities.

NT New Connections - 9-13 June 2009
Now in its 6th year here at the Lyceum, NT New Connections is the showcase of the very best in youth theatre from across Scotland.

SUMMER ON STAGE 2009 |
Looking for something for the kids to do this summer?
Summer on Stage is a chance for young people who love acting, technical or costume to experience the world of professional theatre and to perform or to take part in the technical team for a production on the Lyceum stage.
Shows are supported by a full professional production team, from the set design to the costume and the lighting and are directed by practicing theatre directors. Performances take place in the magnificent Lyceum auditorium and are marketed to the public with the full support of the Lyceum’s marketing team.

SEASON 2009/10 LAUNCHED! |
It may not start until September, but we’re delighted to announce the line up for our exciting new season of work. We're going to be presenting great work from companies and writers including Vanishing Point, James Hogg, Arthur Miller, Martin McDonough, Jo Clifford and John Byrne.
Tickets go on general sale from 1 August 2009 (Christmas - 1 June 2009). Before that, all six shows (not including Christmas) may be booked as a Lyceum Season Ticket - details will appear soon on our website and in the July edition of this newsletter (and if you’re already a subscriber, your renewal info should be with you very soon!)

And that brings us to the end of another eNewsletter - it's been a great season here at the Lyceum, so I hope you were able to catch a play or two (or three or four...) and that you liked what you saw.
As the above info shows, there's still plenty happening here in Grindlay Street over the summer, and it'll not be long until we're back with the new season and it'll all begin again...
